Dear Fishers Islanders,

In response to the interest shown by many of you regarding the large variety of wildlife that surrounds us, we are expanding our monthly Birding newsletter beyond the traditional “Bird Count” to include reports on all island wildlife as well as reflections and photos by members of our community.
This email will come out once a month and include the latest Birding Count and an observation form so that you can contribute to the monthly tally. Click the button below to sign up.

In addition to our growing number of birders, we have fisherman patrolling our shores, and boats exploring the surrounding waters. Knowing you all have smart phones, we encourage all our members to send us photos and reflections about their wildlife experiences on Island.

On behalf of the Wildlife Committee, Todd McCormack has agreed to compile and edit these stories and interactions for those of you who have signed up for the HLFM Wildlife and Birding News.

Enjoy the walk,

Terry
