Come one, come all to FIYC for a BBQ with Toppers and live music to celebrate Skipper Charlie Enright and the 11th Hour Racing Team winning the 2023 Ocean Race.

This Friday, July 14th, we are inviting all members and all Fishers Islanders to join us to celebrate Charlie Enright and 11th Hour Racing’s incredible achievement in winning the 2023 Ocean Race. Charlie, Rear Commodore Meris Enright, and family will be in attendance as we gather on the lawn to eat well, drink well, and (hopefully) dance well.
We will be serving hamburgers and hotdogs from the grill, homemade pizzas by Pete Raymond (husband of Governor Megan Raymond), and potluck appetizers from the FIYC community. If you’d like to bring an appetizer or dessert, please email us at 11thhourBBQ@fiyc.net and let us know what you’ll be bringing so that we can be sure that we have enough tablespace for everyone.
After dinner, there will be Topper’s ice cream for kids AND adults. Plus, a full bar (cash and chit) and a specially donated pop-up bar serving Fishers Island Lemonade.
For entertainment, we’ve hired Wooly Mammoth, a super fun and mellow summer jam band from Connecticut, to play on the yacht club lawn — the perfect music to get kids and parents alike dancing under the twilight sky.
The BBQ is open to all – so please bring the family, the kids, grandkids, and tell all your friends. It’s going to be a fantastic night!
