Summer Internships with FI Seagrass Mgmt. Coalition

The Henry L. Ferguson Museum is excited to offer two Seagrass Monitoring Intern positions with the Fishers Island Seagrass Management Coalition (FISMC). This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marine conservation, data collection, and environmental education while working alongside experienced professionals.

FISMC is a community-based organization on Fishers Island that promotes the importance of seagrass and protects our fragile marine habitat. We are involved in various projects, including anthropogenic monitoring, water quality assessments, and eelgrass mapping, all integral to understanding our ecosystem.
