Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for patients visiting our clinic. The ideal candidate will support front-desk operations, patient scheduling, and care coordination while maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring an excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism and empathy
  • Schedule, confirm, and follow up on patient appointments
  • Verify insurance eligibility and assist with billing questions
  • Maintain accurate patient records in our EMR system
  • Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and support staff
  • Handle prescription requests, referrals, and specialist coordination
  • Support front-desk administrative tasks, including phones and messages
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or medical office certificate preferred
  • 1–2 years experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic) a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently
  • Comfortable working in a small, tight-knit team and island environment
