Island People’s Project was excited to host the annual Independence Day celebration and the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
We hope that everyone enjoyed the IPP 4th of July Parade celebrating America’s 250th anniversary as much as we did! IPP was thrilled to welcome a new Fife and Drum Corps, The Ancient Mariner Fife and Drum Corps, whose music brought wonderful energy and spirit to the parade.
It was a joy to see so many decorated bikes, strollers, and scooters, and we extend our thanks to Karl Ericksson for organizing the amazing car parade.
Thank you also to the Fishers Island Fire Department for hosting the community cookout, which was underwritten by IPP and offered free to everyone.
Enjoy these photo galleries filled with memories and download the ones you want to have. Thank the photographers, wherever you are!
