Dear Fishers Island Community,
It is with great regret that Grey Gulls will not be able to host our annual fireworks display. As with last year’s cancellation, our challenges remain the same. In short, the barge company we had been using is no longer providing its services, leaving us with insurmountable logistical hurdles.
We share this disappointment, particularly this year as the nation celebrates its 250th birthday. Thank you for all the years of support, good cheer, and encouragement! It has been a pleasure.

On behalf of everyone on Fishers Island who has had the great fortune of witnessing the Grey Gulls fireworks over the decades, we thank you.
Memories were made viewing the fireworks displays from Grey Gulls, boats in West Harbor, beach towels on Dock Beach, and hundreds of lawns, deck chairs, and porch steps. Your whole family has given this beautiful, patriotic, heartwarming, and memorable gift to generations of Fishers Islanders, and we are very grateful.
