Hello,

We are writing to let you know that we are canvassing Fishers Island School stakeholders to begin the process of developing a School Growth Plan. This will be a visionary plan that is an important piece for Fisher Island School’s future trajectory.

An overview of this plan was presented as one of the agenda items during the June 18th Board of Education Meeting and is included below. We would like to invite you to participate as a voluntary member of this advisory group. Please contact me at j.burns@fischool.com or Christian Arsenault at c.arsenault@fischool.com by August 15th if you would like to be a part of developing the Fishers Island School Growth plan. The group will meet once a month for approximately 1 hour with some additional work in between.

Growth Plan Defined

  • Living document
  • Sustainable
  • Reviewed yearly
  • 3 – 4 goals with actionable & measurable items: EXAMPLES – school climate & culture, enrollment, curriculum & instruction, etc.
