ONE COMMISSIONER TO FILL A SEAT
FOR A TERM OF FIVE (5) YEARS.

The polls will remain open between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Electors of the District qualified to vote for Town Officers of the Town of Southold at the preceding Town Election AND certain owners of the real property situated within the Fishers Island Ferry District assessed upon the last preceding town assessment roll shall be eligible to vote. Further information on voting qualifications is available at the Fishers Island Ferry District business office.

Absentee Ballots are available in the Fishes Ferry Terminal Office
and are due by August 5, 2024, 4pm
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, as prescribed by Chapter 699 of the Laws of New York, 1947, as amended, that the Annual Meeting for the election of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District will be held on Tuesday, the 13th Day of August 2024 at the Fishers Island Community Center, Fishers Island, New York at 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of electing one Commissioner as follows:

Candidates must complete a Nominating Petition which can be found at the FI Ferry Business Office. The Nominating Petition is due Friday, July 19, 2024 at 12:00 noon to FI Ferry Business Office, 261 Trumbull Drive, Fishers Island, NY 06390.

THE CANDIDATE IS A RESIDENT WHO IS QUALIFIED TO VOTE FOR TOWN OFFICERS OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, NEW YORK, AND OWNS REAL PROPERTY SITUATED WITHIN THE FISHERS ISLAND FERRY DISTRICT ASSESSED UPON THE LAST PRECEDING TOWN ASSESSMENT ROLL.
