Before you go… off Island, on a trip, or for the season, please check and update your house keyholder contact information with the FIFD in case of an emergency.
Should your property alarm system go off for any reason, access to your home or business is important. If you are not on the Island, the FIFD needs to know who to contact to gain access. The keyholder record of who to contact in an emergency—low or high temperature, carbon monoxide, smoke/fire alarms — is kept safely at the firehouse and needs to be current and accessible during an emergency.

At your earliest convenience, please
supply the following information to the FIFD
- Your home’s Keyholder Name(s)
- Keyholder’s Mobile Phone, Home Phone & Email
- Your Fishers Island Street Address
- Your Off Island Contact: Mobile Phone, Home Phone & Email address
Please refer any questions regarding the property information updates to FIFD District Manager & Paramedic Porfirio ‘Rod’ Rodriguez, (631) 788-7375, fifdmedic@gmail.com. You can also drop the information at the Firehouse or send it to:
