NOTICE OF HEARINGS FOR WETLAND PERMIT APPLICATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT PUBLIC HEARINGS WILL BE HELD AS AN IN-PERSON ONLY MEETING BY THE TOWN TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 2026 AT OR ABOUT 5:30 P.M. AT THE PECONIC LANE COMMUNITY CENTER AUDITORIUM LOCATED AT 1170 PECONIC LANE, PECONIC, N.Y. 11958 REGARDING THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS FOR PERMITS UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WETLAND/COASTAL EROSION HAZARD AREA ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS WILL BE AN IN-PERSON MEETING ONLY WITH NO OPTION TO PARTICIPATE VIA A ZOOM BASED WEBINAR.

Click on the name of the application to view the file. If you cannot access the application through the Town’s website and would like to inquire about a proposed project you are welcome to contact the Board of Trustees office at (631) 765-1892 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00AM – 4:00PM.
Written comments may also be submitted via email to the Trustees office to elizabethc@southoldtownny.gov and thomash@southoldtownny.gov. Said comments will be considered at the public hearing provided that they are submitted no later than 12:00 P.M. (Prevailing Time) on the day of the public hearing.
- FI BOAT HOUSE, LLC requests a Wetland Permit to reinforce the existing 54 deteriorating timber piles by temporarily excavating around the pilings and install grout filled pile jackets which would increase the diameter of the piles from 12” to 16”. ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN SAID MATTERS SHOULD ATTEND IN PERSON AT THE TIME AND PLACE ABOVE SPECIFIED AND WILL BE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD. APPLICATIONS MAY BE REVIEWED AND COMMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING UP TO 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE HEARING.
