Fishers Island, NY — Lighthouse Works is proud to announce that three of its former Fellows have been awarded 2025 Guggenheim Fellowships by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. This prestigious national honor recognizes individuals whose intellectual and artistic achievements have shaped their fields.

Lighthouse Works Fellows named Guggenheim Fellows are:

Azza el Siddique, Visual Art / Sculpture, Session 36
Brandon Som, Literature / Poetry, Session 36
Tommy Kha, Visual Art / Photography, Session 64

Their selection affirms Lighthouse Works’ mission to support and advance the work of visionary artists and writers within the community on Fishers Island.

“We are thrilled to see these extraordinary artists receive the recognition they so deeply deserve,” said Nate Malinowski, Executive Director of Lighthouse Works. “Their Guggenheim Fellowships are a testament to the caliber of the artistic inquiry that unfolds during our residencies—and a reminder of the lasting impact that focused time and support can have on an artist’s career.”

Since its founding in 2012, Lighthouse Works has hosted over 260 Fellows working across a wide array of disciplines. For more information about Lighthouse Works and its Fellowship Program, visit www.lighthouseworks.us.
