Island People’s Project

With Community, For Community

Island People’s Project creates opportunities and fosters connections for everyone on Fishers Island by providing cultural events, educational programs, and natural spaces throughout the year.

Island People’s Project (IPP) plays a vital role in Island life. This group of volunteers runs the IPP summer Morning Program and hosts the annual Arts and Crafts Fair, House and Garden Tour, July 4th and Halloween Parades, Christmas Decorating Contest, Easter Egg Hunt, The Patch garden, Senior activities, and more.

IPP owns and manages the Ball Field and also manages Dock Beach, the Island’s smallest beach, providing a lifeguard during the summer season.
