Lifeguards needed for Dock Beach
We are currently hiring lifeguards for the summer 2026.
Lifeguard Hours in July & August:
Monday – Friday 11:00am-4:00pm
Saturday – Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm
Pay is $18/hour with Certification expenses paid by IPP upon employment.
Certification Required:
Lifegurad Training and First Aid
CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Waterfront Lifeguarding

About Dock Beach
IPP manages Fishers Island’s kid-friendly beach, Dock Beach, on the West End of the Island.
IPP installs a floating swim dock and netting every summer and provides a lifeguard in July and August.
Picnic tables are also supplied by IPP.
Every July, IPP’s morning program organizes a summer favorite event, the Cardboard Boat Regatta. Teams create cardboard boats using only duct tape and compete in varying age groups. It is always a fun event to watch and a perfect time for a late afternoon swim, whether you planned on it or not.
