Fishers Island Electric Co. is pleased to share Harrison Hall’s progression as he continues to excel in lineman training. He recently placed 1st in his third-year competition at North East Public Power training in Littleton, MA against multiple utility companies’s lineworkers from New England.
The Apprentice Lineworker Skills Assessment Rodeo is held each year. The competition serves to measure and ensure the level of the apprentices’ knowledge and skills at each level. Harrison and the other apprentices work their way through very comprehensive and rigorous training at the center in Massachusetts, and from the journeyman lineworkers at their place of employment, to become fully licensed electric lineworkers.
