The Fishers Island Girl’s team just finished their season by winning the Coastal Prep League Championship. It is the third year in a row they have brought home the coveted trophy.
The small team of seven players was led by team captains Ariah Vona and Dallas Rodriguez. The girls came together as a team to defeat two teams in the tournament that had previously beaten them earlier in the season. The rest of the team is made up of Lil Heinzman, Madelyn Seal, Kat Arcelus, and first-year players Maia Gello and Georgie Hillsgrove.
