We board the M/V Race Point at Silver Eel Cove on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Departing at 7:30 pm for New London, where the ferry docks in the slip, and everyone stays on board. Picnic dinner, beach chairs, and tables are all welcome. (No open flames.)

The main fireworks display for New London, Connecticut in 2026 is the Mashantucket Pequot Fireworks Extravaganza. The display will take place over the Thames River at 9:15 p.m. as the spectacular climax of the daytime Celebrate New London festival.
