The Library’s mission is to encourage a love of reading, storytelling and learning by providing free year-round access to its collection, programs and technology in a traditional, friendly, and charming setting for islanders of all ages.
We’re wireless, with lots of outside spaces in which to get online. A Password is now required for wifi. The PW is posted on the outside bulletin board and inside the Library.
We are pleased to announce that in response to our community survey, we are extending our winter hours as of the Fall of 2026, as shown below.
