The Islanders vs. the Big Club
The 2021 Fishers Island Softball postseason featured one of the rarest achievements in sports: a team overcoming the three games to none deficit in a best-of-seven series.
After sweeping the regular season series, The Islanders spotted The Big Club the first three games of the finals. Faced with the prospect of being swept, The Islanders proceeded to win Game 4, 5, five and 6 (winning the 6th 18-9) and capping off the epic comeback with a 15-4 victory in the decisive Game 7.
