TLW Fall News & Plans

September 22, 2020

Dear Fishers Islanders,

Lighthouse Works is looking forward to fall on the island and will be continuing the virtual art-making workshops, studio visits, and organized reading + discussion groups that have been running this spring and summer. We also will resume our Fellowship Program, with a smaller group of fellows and a physically-distanced program, in October.

Protecting our Fellows and the island community’s health remains a priority for us, and we have worked with Dr. Chris Ingram to create a plan to welcome our Fellows to the island safely. This plan uses IHP’s Enroll, Test, Check & Protect protocol as a foundation, adds a second test for our Fellows one week after their arrival, and incorporates physical distancing and increased sanitation protocols into our program to protect everyone for the duration of the session. An outline of the plan can be found here.

IHP’s protocol has protected our community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. It gives us great confidence in our ability to resume ourFellowship Program safely.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to be in touch.

Sincerely,

Nate Malinowski
