Study finds sea level rise has eroded millions in relative home values

The Block Island Times has published an article on a study by First Street Foundation and Columbia University citing the effects the rising sea level has on the housing values, and thus the property taxes a state receives.

“The new study has found that increased sea level rise has “eroded $403.1 million in relative home values” throughout New England between 2005 and 2017.”
