Southold Public Hearings: Two Fishers Island Wetlands Applications

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT PUBLIC HEARINGS WILL BE HELD BY THE TOWN TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, AT THE SOUTHOLD TOWN HALL, 53095 ROUTE 25, SOUTHOLD, NEW YORK ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14, 2019 AT OR ABOUT 5:30 PM ON THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS FOR PERMITS UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WETLAND ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN.

1.       J.M.O. Environmental Consulting on behalf of CHOCOMOUNT COVE PARTNERS, LLC, c/o ELIZABETH C. CALLANDER requests a Wetland Permit to remove an existing deck, structure and steps; construct a 1,640sq.ft. addition onto an existing single family dwelling with a drywell for roof runoff; construct a 12’x32’ pool with a 24’x60’ pool deck; construct a 68’ long rock retaining wall along southerly side of proposed pool and deck area; construct a 14’x24’ shade structure landward of pool patio; and construct a 822sq.ft. (includes steps) deck along the seaward side of the dwelling.  Located: 12244 East Main Road, Fishers Island.  SCTM# 1000-3-2-6

2.       J.M.O. Environmental Consulting on behalf of ALEXANDER WILMERDING requests a Wetland Permit and a Coastal Erosion Permit to construct a 226sq.ft. roofed over deck/gazebo area with a ±27sq.ft. access ramp and railings on top of existing 12.1’x12.3’ (148.83sq.ft.) brick foundation “pump house”; on the “pump house” restore or replace stucco on walls where necessary, and replace existing windows.  Located: 4997 Equestrian Avenue, Fishers Island.  SCTM# 1000-9-9-3.1

ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN SAID MATTERS SHOULD APPEAR AT THE TIME AND PLACE ABOVE SPECIFIED AND WILL BE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD.  APPLICATIONS MAY BE REVIEWED AND COMMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING UP TO 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE HEARING.
