Enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal, monthly door prize/raffle, seasonal table settings, and interesting conversation. The Senior Luncheons are held on the third Thursday of the month from October through May – most are held at the Union Chapel unless otherwise noted.
The Senior Lunch Committee is always looking for volunteer chefs and entertainment ideas. Island organizations are invited to host. Guest speakers are most welcome. Let us know if you want to get involved for next season. Chef Sue Lusker out did her self with a fresh green salad, beef stew complete with mashed potatoes and a melt in your mouth bread pudding for dessert. The table decorations by Jane Pickett and Ann Banks were cheerful and the turn out was good!
Chef Robin Toldo made a most delicious meal with roast beef tenderloin, potatoes, green beans and carrots and a delicious dessert of gingerbread cake and ice cream. Thank you too to Karen Simoncini for baking and baking all those beautiful Christmas cookies each guest took home. And to Ann Banks and Ellen Pickett for the seasonal centerpieces with boxwood and pussywillows.
