Part 2

Recap: Policing on FINY— 3 cars set up camp at Bud’s Hole and the Race, illegally (overnight parking is not allowed on Southold Town beaches or parks); the community needs to know how and when to contact the authorities; Chief Flatley says islanders should call Southold Town Dispatch at 631-765-2600, who will contact the on-duty constable. IHP— reminder that NY state laws are subject to change, but the 14-day quarantine applies to blacklisted travelers even with negative tests. Realtors— 25+ rentals starting August 1; some cancellations, but Jim+Laurie confident that renters are not especially problematic. Major Questions/Action Items— (Chief Flatley says he will obtain constable duty schedule) at the moment, there is no official schedule, constable duty-hours determined by word of mouth; people around Toppers, liquor store, green need to be wearing masks when they cannot distance.
