FIWMD Notice of 2020 Rate Increase

Please be advised that as of January 1, 2020 the rates for the commercial disposal of Bulky Items and Wood will be going up by 35%. This increase is intended to price these items to be more in line with private alternatives.

The District, at a later date, will also implement a program whereby salvageable items will be retained for taking by the general public. If such items are redeemed, the depositing contractor will earn a credit against future charges. This program will require some refinement, and all comments and suggestions are encouraged.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

FIWMD
