Dear Fishers Community,
We are reaching out to gather information that will help create a resource to enhance our local students’ career guidance. And what better resource than all of you! If you will please take a few moments to complete this short survey, we would greatly appreciate it.
We are a dedicated group of community members committed to collaborating with and supporting the Fishers Island School to enhance career counseling opportunities and pathways for students. Our aim is to connect Fishers residents (year-round and seasonal) with the Fishers Island School in order to benefit the students of the Fishers Island School. Our mission is to bridge the gap between education and real-world careers by providing community mentorship, resources, and hands-on experiences that empower students to make informed decisions about their futures.
Because our Fishers Island residents represent such a strong and diverse career portfolio, we believe connecting them to the Fishers Island high school students is paramount. Through partnerships with local businesses, resident professionals, and Fishers Island School educators, we aim to create dynamic opportunities such as career workshops, job shadowing, internships, and networking possibilities. By fostering a supportive and knowledgeable Fishers-based environment, we strive to equip students with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to pursue fulfilling and successful career choices.

GIFT CARDS for GRADS
Fishers Career Connection is collecting gift cards for Fishers Island School graduates to help defray initial college costs such as decorating a dorm room, upgrading a computer, or enjoying a late-night snack.
If you’d like to donate a gift card, please indicate the amount on the gift card and mail to: Beth Cashel, PO Box 205, Fishers Island, NY 06390
We are not able to accept cash or checks. Gifts may be anonymous or may include your name and will be distributed at graduation in collaboration with School Counselor Julie Arcelus.
Suggested gift cards: Target, Walmart, Kohls*, TJMaxx/HomeGoods/Marshalls*, doordash*, Ubereats*. Those with an asterisk can be purchased at the Fishers Island Post Office!
