The Red Barn Music Series w/Fuego Sonoro

Sunday, July 17th, from 5:30 to 7:00pm,
we are very excited to welcome Fuego Sonoro
to the Red Barn Art Gallery Gallery on Fishers Island, NY.

Fuego Sonoro is a trio based out of the Capitol Region of New York and Western Massachusetts, featuring 3 very eclectic and in demand musicians, Brian Melick (percussion, drumset), Jonathan Greene (clarinet), and Jon Suters (guitar).  Jonathan and Jon decided to create an ensemble based on their passion for Brazilian Choro music as well as many other forms of Afro Caribbean music. With a blend of beautiful melodies, percolating rhythms, and inspired and virtuosic improvising, this group sounds fresh and classic at the same time. While Brazil and the Caribbean may be the focus much of the time, it is always possible that this group will dig into other bags as well including Classic Jazz, Classical, African, and Balkan musical styles.
