Wednesday, September 8: A Woman of No Importance, a novel by Sonia Parnell
A Woman of No Importance is the story of Virginia Hall, an American spy who changed the course of World War II, whose story has never been told before. It reads like a thriller: ‘a suspenseful, heartbreaking and ultimately triumphant tale of heroism and sacrifice’. (BookPage) and has been very well reviewed.
Weather permitting, the Library Book Group will be meeting in the Madden Garden behind the Library, this Wednesday, September 8, at 5:30 pm to discuss A Woman of No Importance by Sonia Purnell. Note that we are meeting earlier than usual so we can hopefully miss the mosquitos.
We generally gather at 7:00 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Join the discussion as a longtime, new, or one-time member, and please reach out to us at email@example.com for log in instructions. All are welcome.
