Marie C. Doyen, 62, died peacefully on February 6, 2023, in the company of her significant other, her pets, family and friends at home in West Palm Beach, FL.
She was born April 8, 1960, in New London, CT to Christena and Francis Doyen of Fishers Island, NY where Marie and her siblings grew up.
After graduating from Fishers Island Union Free School, Marie went on to receive her LPN license from Yorkville Hospital School of Practical Nursing in Cambridge, MA, an Associate Degree of Nursing in Lincoln, RI, and a Bachelor of Art with a major in Psychology at Rhode Island College in Providence.
One of her favorite pastimes was fishing – from age 5 to 58+ she could be found casting from Fishers to Florida…and then cooking up a storm for friends and family.
She leaves behind her dear and loving partner Steve Hicks, and her brothers Danny Doyen of West Palm Beach, FL, and Tommy Doyen, her sister-in-law Meredith (Mere), and their two children Dylan and Charles of Fishers Island, NY.
