FI School Holiday Caroling Night

Fishers Island School hosted a Holiday Caroling night for 5th-12th grade students on Thursday 12/8/22.

Under a rising and magnificent full mone, the students’ caroling route began at the school at 4:45 and head up Fort Stretch past the sparkling Buoy Tree and back along Equestrian to Winthrop Drive ending at the Community Center by about 5:45. (Click the images for a larger view.)

At the Community Center, the students sang a few more songs for anyone who doesn’t live along the caroling route and enjoyed hot chocolate and holiday cookies for all in the café area.

Neighbors on the caroling route left their porch lights on to let the carolers know to stop.

Thank you to Fishers Island School’s Mrs. Tempesta and Mrs. Arcelus and all the student carolers. All those who enjoyed this special treat hope it becomes an annual tradition!
