Fishers Island School BOE extends Superintendent/ Principal Contract

The Fishers Island Board of Education unanimously approved a contract extension for Superintendent/ Principal Christian Arsenault at their meeting Wednesday, February 16, 2022. The new contract is renewed for five more years, through 2027.

Board of Education President Jaime Doucette said, “Our Board is so pleased that Fishers Island School will continue to grow under Superintendent/ Principal Arsenault’s leadership and we are looking forward to working with him in the years to come.”

Christian has served as the head of the Fishers Island School since 2017, serving the last three years as Superintendent and Principal.

“I have the best job in the world. It is an honor to work each day with our devoted staff to support the most amazing kids and families. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving a community that I love and has become my family’s home. Beth and I could not have found a better place to raise our children. I am proud of all that we have accomplished at Fishers Island School and look forward to continuing the work.”
