The Town of Southold Planning Board will be holding a public hearing regarding a new airplane hangar at Elizabeth Field is scheduled for January 13, 2020 at 6:04pm, at Southold, NY. The hangar is being funded with private funds and will revert back to the Town after a 30-year lease. A public hearing was previously held on Fishers Island by the Fishers Island Ferry District Board of Commissioners on May 29, 2018. (The Ferry District manages the airport property on behalf of the Town of Southold.) Details of the proposed hangar were made at that time. The hangar will have room for 3 planes. Rental space will be available. Please see the attached site plan for details.
