It’s that time of year again…the Fishers Island School seniors have made their choices and it is time for celebrations to begin.
School Counselor Julie Arcelus planned an all-school reception for the seniors, complete with Viking cupcakes, on Wednesday, May 22 to recognized the plans (such as college, career training, military service or employment) that each senior has made for life after high school.
Each senior was called up to share their plans for next year and be recognized for their hard work and many achievements. They were also given a pennant or gift from their new school or career. Julie also took a moment to recognize the incredible support these students have received throughout their time at FIS from the entire faculty and staff. And, Principal Christian Arsenault also thanked Julie for all her support and advice for the students and their parents as they made their way through the decision-making process. Everyone is looking forward to following their future successes! (Photos by Jane Ahrens)
