American Flags honor Vets

To honor our veterans on Memorial Day, American flags are being placed in the Island’s cemeteries by volunteers of the American Legion Post #1045.

Placing flags in a cemetery honors American veterans who served or died for our country.

The tradition is significant for family, friends, and those who are grateful for their service.
