Fishers Island Fire Department’s Chief Bruce Hubert and Treasurer Matt Edwards visited with Bill Faulkner February 5, 2019. The purpose was to recognize Bill’s 5o plus years as a member of the Fishers Island Fire Department, to thank him for his volunteer service, and to present him with his 50th-anniversary pin.
Bill joined the Fishers Island Fire Department in 1967 and was an active member even after he reached Life Member status in 1987.
At the Fire Department’s Installation Dinner in January 2019 Paul Giles and David Burnham each received their 20 year Life pins in addition to Bill Faulkner’s 50 year pin.
