UPDATE: And so it began on Sunday, July 22. Thank you to everyone who came to help lend a hand to prep and start the painting in the Hall, scrubbed and cleaned the kitchen, replaced some wood trim and took down the sign for repair, and for being a part of the effort. The work continues so feel free to join us in the next steps to “Deck the Hall”. ALL HANDS ON DECK – We are painting the Hall on Sunday, July 22 from 1:30-6:00ish and the more volunteers, the faster it will go! There is a task for everyone who comes to help. Mark your calendar to save the date. We will be there from noon on so bring yourselves and see where you can pitch in.
The Legion will provide hamburgers and hotdogs to volunteers!

American Legion Post 1045 on Fishers Island welcomes veterans, Legion members and the Fishers Island community to the monthly meetings, generally held the 1st Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
