Fishers Island Library’s Stuffed Animal Sleepover

by Jane Ahrens

Tuesday, August 15, 28 young children piled into the Library with their favorite ‘lovies’ to enjoy a special story hour by Library Trustee Cindy Dwyer. After the book reading the stuffed animals (well, most of them) stayed for the annual sleepover where they have fun playing in the Library all by themselves!

As in past years, when the children come back to the Library the next morning to pick up their stuffed friends, they all receive a photo from the night before to remember the whole wonderful event.

Thank you to our volunteers for assisting with this event including School Principal Christian Arsenault with his students, photographer Jane Ahrens, and Library Program Director Amy Harris and Librarian Ann Banks.

Fishers Island School students Ian, Jack, Izabel, Christina, Constance, Caroline and Devin all volunteered to help with different aspects of the sleepover.
