2015 FICC Turkey Trot Long-sleeve T

Spectacular weather set the stage for the Thanksgiving morning road race-walk. After registering at 8:15 (54 pre-registered) community members of all ages were off to the one or three-mile course at 9:00. Zach Hoch was the first back to the finish line (again this year), followed closely by Gardener Crary and Mackie Siebens. The 1st 3-mile runners to finish in each age category received a prize of maple syrup donated by the Cook Farm that has been in the family since 1847. The 1st 1-milers to finish received Community Center gift certificates. Thank you to Chef Brian Busse for the delicious pancake breakfast the Island Café served from 9-11 that morning!
