When did you first arrive on Island?
Peter: I first arrived on the Island in 1940, but family members had been coming since the late 1800s.
Jan: In 1962 to attend the wedding of Grace and Frank Burr.
What are your favorite things to do on Fishers?
Peter ~ I love to fish, swim, ride my bike, walk the beaches and sometimes just explore the island.
Jan ~ My favorite thing to do is walk the beaches looking for sea glass and collecting wild flowers.
What does Fishers mean to you?
Peter: To me and my family it is THE special place.
Jan: A place of relaxation, peace, family and friends.
