When did you first arrive on Island?
My wife Cookie and I were both born here and are alumni of the Fishers Island School. My father was an engineer on the Fishers Island Ferry and my mother worked at the Mansion House. We have raised all our children on the island and some are full-time island residents, as we are.
What are your favorite things to do on Fishers?
I particularly enjoy gardening…fishing…birding.
What does Fishers mean to you?
Everything. Fishers is truly our home. Our children feel the same way. We continue to enjoy being involved – sometimes immersed in island life – volunteering wherever and whenever we are needed.
