When did you first arrive on Island?
In June 1980 we rented a house with a bunch of friends and discovered the island together. We have been coming every summer since and bought our own house in 2010. We call Fishers Island home year round now.

What are your favorite things to do on Fishers?
Take walks, discover new paths, relax on Chocomount Beach with friends, have pot-luck dinners, needlepoint and find time to read a good book.

This was our summer place – the place where our children got to ride bikes and find some independence, spend time on the water and, just be kids. We all met people and made friends from all over the country, and look forward to catching up with them each year. Now that it is really our home, we get to enjoy the Island in all the seasons.

FishersIsland.net and the accompanying Fog Horn eNewsletter serve as the communications resource for the Fishers Island community. The content – news, calendar, links and photos, milestones, ads, and more create a clear image of Fishers to those on and off the island.
