The Community Center is happy to introduce our new Bowling Attendant, Shannon Garvey. Shannon has been eagerly working on revamping our Bowling Alley and is excited to share some of the new happenings.
Currently, we’re working on starting up our Winter Bowling League and are looking for teams. For more information on league sign ups please contact Liz Burnham.
We are also excited to start an introduction to bowling for our younger friends! Sunday mornings 11AM-12PM Shannon would like to open the bowling alley for ages 3-7 years (to get these youngsters their first taste of bowling). With the option for bumper bowling, this is a great way to get those bowling skills developing early on. Also makes for an excellent play date!
We would also like to share some great information for our teenagers! The Community Center is working on revitalizing our teen offerings by recently purchasing new ping pong paddles and balls and also replacing our old billards equipment with brand new racks, sticks, and balls. We also are working on getting a flat screen wall mounted and a video game system with the maximum amount of controllers possible so everyone can play together. If anyone has a wall mountable TV they would like to donate, or a video game system they are no longer using they’d like to donate, we’d be more than willing to put it to good use! We are also looking for an air hockey table to replace the foosball tables so again, any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Lastly, we’d like to give an update on winter operation hours.Thursday 3PM-6PM, Friday/Saturday 3PM-9PM, Sunday 11AM to 12PM Bowling introduction ages 3-7, Everyone else 12PM to 4PM.
If you’d like to host a private party and rent the bowling alley by the hour please contact Shannon at the Community Center during normal Bowling Alley business hours.
