Thanks to our amazing students, we enjoyed a wonderful and highly educational trip to our nation’s capital. Our teacher chaperones (and the principal!) beamed with pride as our students earned praise from every tour guide we met for their strong knowledge of history, their exemplary behavior and their deep respect for their country. Special thanks to our Board of Education for supporting this important authentic learning opportunity and to our chaperones who devoted personal/family time to make the trip happen: Linda Bean, Michael George, Carol Giles, Jess Hall, Jared Kaplan, Carrie Sawyer, Gil Amaral, and Trip Committee Chairman, Chris Dollar. ~ Your partner in education, Karen Goodwin
