MARINE CONSERVATION AND ECONOMIC GROWTH ARE NOT AT ODDS: Sunday, August 13th, 4:00 p.m. An Illustrated Lecture by Dr. Tundi Agardy. Tundi Agardy is the Executive Director of Sound Seas, a marine conservation policy group that develops initiatives to promote truly effective marine conservation by working at the interface between public policy and community-based conservation at the more localized level. She specializes in coastal planning and marine protected areas and has published widely, including the book Marine Protected Areas and Ocean Conservation. The 2017 Smith Vaughan Lecture. Reception to follow.
