ANNUAL ELECTION OF
FISHERS ISLAND FIRE DISTRICT
DECEMBER 11, 2018

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Fishers Island Fire District will take place on December 11, 2018, between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the Fishers Island Firehouse located at Athol-Crescent Avenue, Fishers Island, New York for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five year term commencing on January 1, 2019 and ending on December 31, 2023.

NOTICE is further given that the following proposition shall be presented to the qualified voters of the Fire District at said Annual Election:

PROPOSITION
SHALL the Defined Benefit Plan established by the Length of Service Award Program as approved by the voters of the Fishers Island Fire District, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk, State of New York be amended to provide that the maximum number of years that may be earned in the plan be increased from 30 years to 40 years; and further to provide that the monthly benefit accrued after January 1, 2019 shall be increased from $20.00 per month to $30.00 per month for each year of accrued service, all of such changes together bearing an estimated annual cost of $33,300.00, BE APPROVED?

All residents of the Fire District duly registered with the Suffolk County Board of Elections as of November 19, 2018 shall be eligible to vote.

FISHERS ISLAND WASTE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT
DECEMBER 11, 2018

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Election of the Fishers Island Waste Management District will take place on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm, at Fishers Island Fire Department located at Fishers Island, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York for the purpose of electing two commissioners; one for a five year term and one for a two year term commencing January 1, 2019.

All registered voters of Fishers Island Waste Management District are eligible to vote. Every resident of the District, who is qualified to vote for a Town officer, shall be eligible to hold the office of District Commissioner.
